While the State of Eritrea celebrates its 19th year of independence on 24th May and the Eritrean Opposition Groups in Addis Ababa are making themselves busy with the National Conference Agendas, the National Security Forces of Eritrea continues to severely violate fundamental freedoms and human rights of its peoples in violation of its obligations under domestic and international law...The Afar people are systematically required to obtain special permission to conduct their own business in the country. Afar businessmen are subject to Immigration control.

Dear Hassan, I absolutely agree with your comment. Of course, RSADO was founded to advocate for the rights of her own Afar people in Eritrea. The RSADO main mission is to dislodge the PFDJ cogs out of Denkalia soil once for all so that her people to get freedom of movement. If they could not do that everyone can guess how much bitter life will experience the Red See Afarian people.

Brothers and sisters the Red Sea Afar Nation has been suppressed since 20 years. Their boats systematically nationalized or broken and they have been labor in what was their own property, they are now slave in their own land and prisoners in their coast. Despite all these human rights gross abuse no one move one single finger in this unlimited crime it is really provoking evidence more than RSADO. Regards RSADO seems they are busy with election and empty promises of TPLF therefore they are waiting the big boss until wake up and make up........ However this point remains to be seen.

Very good and informativ article on the suffering of the Afar people. My question is why RSADO is not attacking the PFDJ military camps inside Dankalia instead of participating in the attacks in Tsrona fron?
