EDA Conference without EPDP

 The Eritrean National Salvation Front (ENSF) led by Ustaz Ahmed Nasser has so far been the first to call for a realistic approach to the EDA conference in an internal letter allegedly written by leading ENSF members, including Ustaz Nasser, as well as through an official statement issued on 21 June 2010, in which they reminded the public that the EDA conference was only a step towards more similar events.

How possible can it be for EDA to conduct a very successful NCDC when the all organizations under its umbrella are not even participating?... The decision by NCDC to go ahead with the conference in spite of the open differences within EDA on the process of the NCDC only deepen and sharpen the difference within EDA… The participation of the Diaspora Eritrean community at large is way below what it should be. It is almost negligible… We do not have a clear and transparent definition of the role of the sponsoring nations in the NCDC process.
