Voting for secession sets dangerous precedence for the Sudan and Africa at large. For the Sudan, the quest for secession may not stop with the North/South divide. Both the North and South are composed of diverse regional and ethnic segments. Secession will not resolve the issue of “dominant and dominated”, it will just replace, for example, in the case of the South the Northern “Arab/Muslim domination”  by “Dinqa domination”,

the existing autocratic governance system should be abolished and replaced with a democratically decentralized governance system that uses the methodology of polycentric self-governance as its framework for analysis. Thus, political parties working from the Diaspora may be required to commission a study of contemporary Eritrean society and debate the issue of governance system that effectively connect the State with the Eritrean mass from rights based development approach perspectives.

 يوميات رمضان ولياليها تختلف عن باقي أيام شهور السنة سواء من التغير الذي يطرأ في الحياة اليومية  للأفراد أومن ناحية مواعيد الإفطار والأكلات التي تصاحبها وليالي القيام والسهر ، ورغبة من موقع وإذاعة عركوكباي بمشاركة قرائها ومستمعيها في برامجنا الذي سيكون عن عادات الاريتريين  في رمضان فإننا نأمل تزويدنا بقصص قصيرة تسرد فيها الحياة اليومية في رمضان وذلك في مدن وقرى اريتريا وفي بلاد المهجر .

أمران ينبغي أن نوليهما اهتمامنا في هذا الشهر .

1- الدعاء لعلمائنا الذين في السجون وجميع ابناء ارتريا المكبلة ايديهم بالخلاص والأنعتاق ، وأن يشاركوا فرحة العيد اهليهم .

2- السعي والإجتهاد لجمع ما تيسر من الأموال لمساعدة الجوعى والأرامل والأيتام من أبناء بلدنا الحبيبة .

 أثيوبيا لم يرضيها سير عمل الملتقى ، خاصةً بعد المشادات و تبادل بعد التهديدات التي تخللت بدايات الملتقى عقب الإفتاتحية من حيث عدد السكرتارية و كيفية تكوينها و تشكيلها – مما أظهر البعض  إنسحابه من الملتقى – هذا فكان تدخل أثيوبي ممثلاً في وزير خارجيتها موجهاً بعد الإرشادات الى السكرتارية لإنجاح الملتقى مشيراً أن هذه تعتبر الفرصة الأخيرة للمعارضة الإرترية – ثم توجه الوزير الى إستعدادات حزبه الى المؤتمر الحزبي المرتقب خلال الأيام المقبلة .

في برنامج "حوار مفتوح"  لاذاعة صوت عركوكباي  تم محاورة كل من الأساتذة: السيد محمد علي لباب والسيد حمد كل والسيد صلاح أبوراي. وقد أكد السيد لباب بانه لا يرى اي مانع من اقامة ارتريا لعلاقات ديبلوماسية مع الجمهورية الاسلامية الايرانية ودولة اسرائيل ولكن... 

Almost everyone in town was under 34 years old, and could not possibly have known us. Even the predominant language had changed from Arabic to Tigrinnya.  But the two-room addition to the school which we built was still standing, albeit used only as a storeroom for the much bigger new school.

During our Joint Fundraising Appeal, there were several groups and organizations of the Afar Diaspora who have shown wiilingeness and interest in contrubuting both in kind and in cash to the APDA’s Water and Sanitation Project, as the Fund from the EU requires that the applicant must contribute with 25% of the project cost as “Match Funding”.
